If you read some books you are led to believe the two sons of Philippe Mius and Marie, Philippe and Jacques just sailed off into the sunset never to be seen again.
There was no sunset on the horizon for Philippe and Jacques Mius, just the gallows.

Baron Philippe Mius d'Entremont is that the D'Entremont-Mius family was a fully integrated Mi'kaq family by the time of the hangings in 1726, married to and living among the other Mi'kmaq families.
It's come as no surprise that the name Francis Mius would eventually be signed to the Treaty in 1761.
